Depends on the location, so please make sure you read the Facebook event details thoroughly.

Prices are usually indicated at the Facebook events page and you can purchase them in the "Buy Tickets" top menu.

• Discounted Online Tickets presales END at midnight BEFORE the event.
• Tickets are available at the door for full price.
• Teenagers under 18 they can purchase an all night ticket at discounted prices at the door.
• Children under 12 are Free. (Please note: All children must be under the supervision of an adult at ALL times.)
• If you're on a tight budget you might want to join our production by contributing your "love in action" and volunteering 2hrs of your time. For more information join our FB Volunteers Group Here . You may also check in at the door to see if there is still any help needed.
  

Yes! Any embpdiment class previous to the dance is included in the ticket price. Stay tuned to the FB event page to see if you're required to bring anything in particular (like a yoga mat).

Yes! Ecstatic Dance is created as a community event and we encourage all members to participate and be co-creators.

Volunteers help a minimum of 2hrs in exchange for admission to class/dance. You'll be contributing your time towards setting up, breakdown or a door shift during the dance. Chores will be like: setting up, breaking down, cleaning, creating/putting away the altar, admissions at the door among other tasks.

We rely on the help of our community volunteers for creating a safe and loving atmosphere at our Dance Temple and we are in immense gratitude for their invaluable service. If you are interested in being a volunteer please Join our Facebook Volunteers Group here and make yourself available :)

Yes please! We encourage all members in our community to bring any offerings for the Altar

Ecstatic Dance is a no booze-no shoes zone where you'll feel more comfortable wearing anything that allows you to move freely and comfortably. Remember that you will get ecstatic so try avoiding jewelry or clothing that might get entangled with others.

Bring a water bottle and please leave your valuables at home. If you feel inclined you may bring something to share at the Altar. We have a small vending area with high vibrational treats & elixirs so plan on bringing a little cash.

Yes, please do! We encourage a rich environment using all toys that helps us feel connected and embodied in the dance-floor, but be aware that dancers have priority, so please be respectful of others' space.

At Ecstatic Dance, we use dance as a vehicle to go deeper in ourselves and with others. This requires deep internal listening and feeling of oneself and our dance partners. Our safe environment encourages increased sensitivity. The social chit chatting disturbs those who are in deep dance/trance-meditation so we ask to respectfully take those conversations outside the dance floor into the vending/social area. If you need to talk on the dance floor please whisper by your partners ears so nobody else is disturbed.

Not necessarily. People come to dance alone all the time. You may choose to dance with others once you’re there, or you may prefer to dance by yourself—or both.

Absolutely not. Ecstatic dance is about listening to the rhythms, textures, atmospheres generated by carefully crafted music and going through its journey, getting out of the heads and feeling deep into our bodies and seeing how they are moved by the music.

Ecstatic Dance is not about the way the movement looks, or following or imitating anyone else. it’s about how it feels to you and trusting that movement to unfold from the inside out. At Ecstatic Dance, you will see a great variety of dances in any given moment – from flowing Tai Chi-esque moves to hopping up and down to break dancing to simply walking or sitting in meditation.

Yes! Children are welcomed as long as they are supervised and not disruptive. Remember that the Dance Temple is a no-talk environment and children need to understand and respect the space like everyone else. We welcome all joyous dance expressions but no running around uncontrolled while participants are relaxing in sivasana.
